Diploma in Industrial Chemistry from the "Villa Greppi" institute in Monticello B.za (LC) (Italy) in 1989, with a final grade of 60/60. He graduated in 1995 from the University of Milan, Institute of General Pathology (Prof. C. Genchi) with a thesis on the molecular biology of Borrelia burgdorferi and a final grade of 110/110 cum laude. He followed a period of continuous training in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at the Department of Pathology of the University of Milan under the guidance of Prof. Mario Caniatti, DVM, DECVP, of Prof. Saverio Paltrinieri, DVM, DECVCP and of Dr. Stefano Comazzi, DVM, DECVP. Author of around 50 scientific publications in indexed international journals on topics related to clinical pathology and oncology. In October 2005 he obtained recognition as a de facto member of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology. Consultant in clinical pathology for the Tibaldi Veterinary Clinic of Milan and Scientific Director of the MYLAV laboratory in Rho (Italy). President of the Italian Companion Animal Veterinary Association (SCIVAC) for the three-year period 2016-2019 and current SCIVAC Past President.
